Cropico 4000 Hand-Held Digital Ohmmeter

Hand-held Digital Milliohmmeter Series 4000

This portable Digital Ohmmeter is a practical instrument for low resistance measurement, ideal for use in the workshop, field or test facilities. It is of rugged construction contained in an sturdy Plastic case. The Series 4000 has many advanced features, including Auto ranging, forward and reverse current measurement with auto average, True current zero, protection up to 415 volts rms, digital calibration and long scale length, 4000 count and auto power down to maximise battery life.

The model 4001 also includes temperature compensation, with preset coefficients for copper and aluminium plus user settable coefficients for other materials. Temperature measurement over the range -50...+800 deg. C is also available.

LS06 Standard Lead Set supplied with the 4000 series

The test leads provided have a length of 1 metre with spade tags for connection to the ohmmeter terminals. They are terminated in combined current and potential probes that will accept conductor diameters up to 6mm.

The rechargeable battery option includes a battery pack, docking station and charger.

For ease of operation the control functions have been kept to a minimum and are clearly marked. It is of course direct reading, warning LEDs illuminate when an open circuit lead condition is detected. Over range and low battery indication is also provided.

The Series 4000 milliohmmeters are supplied ready for immediate use with batteries and measuring leads, no extras are normally necessary. To further enhance its performance a full range of test test leads are available as well as rechargeable battery pack, temperature probes and carrying case.
