Key Features

Rigel 288 safety analyzer

The Rigel 288 hand-held medical electrical safety analyzer combines the features of an automatic / manual tester with a data logging / asset management facility. A compact lightweight design and long life battery power reduces downtime between tests, making the safety analyzer totally practical and highly portable for multi site use. In addition to IEC 60601-1 and AAMI / NFPA 99, the Rigel 288 safety analyzer meets the IEC 62353 the standard for in-service and after repair testing of medical electronic devices.

The Rigel 288 also has a large internal memory for storage of test results during preventative or routine maintenance, allowing easy download after tests are completed.

A Bluetooth barcode scanner

Rechargeable Blue Tooth Barcode scanner for easy and convienent scanning of Asset Identification.

Rugged battery operated Elite Test n Tag printer

An extremely rugged battery powered mobile printer which prints durable synthetic labels. Long battery life and high impact resistance make it ideal for use in the field, whatever the environment. It has a high speed processor and large memory for quick and efficient processing of complex labels, graphics and fonts using Bluetooth wireless technology.

Med-eBase - an easy-to use asset management software

The Med-eBase software allows the user to easily manage the test data to and from the Rigel 288 electrical safety analyser. Designed around the Windows Explorer user-interface, the Med-eBase program guarantees a familiar working environment.

Sort functions allow the user to sort and schedule up and coming safety tests which can be uploaded to the Rigel 288 for fast retesting of assets.

Med-eBase stores all traceability data coming from the Rigel 288 including: manufacturer name, model, serial number, asset description, site and location, service code, user name, test date, tester data and comments.

This provides a complete record system of the electrical safety test data directly from the Rigel 288 without the need to duplicate or replicate data entry.

To use the Med-eBase download software, simply activate the .sss download feature in your Rigel 288. Firmware Updates to your Rigel 288 are done remotely using your existing PC. The firmware activation is part of the purchase of each Med-eBase license.

Rigel Medical's new Med-eBase program will provide peace of mind when it comes to managing your test data and record keeping.
