To enable test operators to determine progressive deterioration or potential faults in the equipment under test, the Supernova Plus incorporates specially developed software that compares successive test results taken on the same item of electrical equipment.

The Supernova Plus incorporates a number of new innovative features to make electrical safety testing faster more convenient for the operator. These include:

• The unit has increased data storage capacity to enable up to 6000 memory locations. Ability to perform in-line testing for ground bond and touch leakage while the equipment remains powered up – greatly reducing test times.
• Inclusion of two serial ports for the concurrent use of a bar code scanner and a printer. This enables the user to print results immediately after a test has been completed.
• Ground cable length calculator to set ground bond limits, and the automatic increment of device IDs, to further speed up the test process. Compatible with our powerful management software, PATGuard, the Supernova Plus provides a complete electrical safety testing solution.
